Fuck You 1and1.com

Today after getting off  the phone with 1and1 “technical support” I decided to move my domains over to a different registrar and finally give 1and1 what they deserve (middle finger raises up). Mike (a supervisor or network administrator) in the Abuse Department (I believe this is the department they have in place to abuse customers as the name states) threaten to cancel my account with a rude tone, telling me also that I shouldn’t use my 1and1 account as an e-mail relay and that it was stated in their ToS, BS. (Terms of Service, and Bullshit) for those who need clarification with the abbreviations. Even when I never intended to send spam, I generated e-mails to more than 2,000 undeliverable accounts from my old forum database.  That’s unfortunate but it is part of the risks one has to deal with when hosting a board. Users create temporary e-mail accounts, they use that account to register in your board and you end up with an invalid e-mail account in the database. I certainly do not know which e-mail accounts are invalid until I get a bounce back. Then, I proceed to delete the account from the database. Isn’t that what most admins have to spend time on even when it is time consuming and highly disliked?
